We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Flatbed Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing reliable towing services to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are safely transported to designated locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of automotive mechanics, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently to transport vehicles.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs as needed during towing operations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
- Manage conflicts with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction in challenging situations.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle condition reports.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Experience with flatbed and wrecker towing and knowledge of various towing techniques.
- Proficient in tow books.
- Strong mechanical skills for basic automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult customer interactions effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients.
- Attention to detail in vehicle handling and documentation processes.
